The best way to get around is to have a trusted driver from the hotel you can rely on all weekend. You can negotiate a rate & contact them via Whatsapp to be your trusted driver or have the hotel set up individual trips. We have some drivers to recommend if you prefer as well. From airport to hotel & back: We recommend you pre-arrange this with your hotel so they can provide a driver to pick you up/drop you off when the trip is over. If that’s not possible, and you prefer to take a cab, make sure you go to the OFICIAL (yellow) stand inside the airport to book a cab. Like any country, do not accept a ‘cab ride’ from someone who approaches you.

To/from wedding events: You can arrange this with the hotel or take an Uber.

To go to tourist sites: Recommend you only book tours & rides to tours with trusted drivers from the hotel you are staying in. Book this in advance as tour times are best early mornings (so you can avoid traffic).

Random ride requests: Uber is safe so you can always rely on this. Just avoid having phones out while waiting for your ride.
